Snowed Under ships 17 Steam achievements. Names and descriptions below come from the community achievement board, not from guesswork. Use the achievement tracker as a checklist. Story players only need a subset. Completionists should budget extra hours: Patrons was under one percent globally in the first days.

Story and travel

A Signal in the Snow is the cleanest “I finished the geography” mark. Endings are separate pops. Patch 1.06 adjusted achievement triggers, so an older save might need a recapture. See patch notes.

Economy and upgrades

Patch 1.05 changed scrap counts on the map. If you are stuck at 96, you may be on an old mental map. Flattening the whole field is optional; 100 scraps is a completionist target, not a story gate. The upgrade planner still says to buy digging power before you farm vanity totals.

Exploration, death, and rare hunts

Lost to the Cold is the only death the board cares about. Wolf deaths are not a badge. The Full Story is why the walkthrough tells you to read papers even when crates are just scrap.

No Shelter Left Unseen is a door-touch achievement. You do not have to 100% loot a building for the pop, but you should still look outside: charm hunters missed four omamori around the old house exterior.

Patrons is the ugly one. A Chinese review said they cleared snow and houses and still lacked four items they believed were supporter content. Another player thought all charms were indoors. Combine the charms page, a second pass of every landmark on the map, and patience. This wiki will not invent a fake GPS pin for a 0.6% badge.

Suggested order

1. First Steps, A Better Tool, Well Supplied while you learn the hub (Getting Started).
2. Last Stop, A Friendly Face, Lucky Upgrade as the map opens.
3. A Signal in the Snow and Ending A as a story block.
4. Ending B using the ending checklist.
5. Remaining economy and The Full Story.
6. No Shelter Left Unseen, Lost to the Cold on a copy, then Patrons last.

If an achievement does not pop when the description is satisfied, update to 1.06+, reload the shelter, and re-enter the relevant building or dump scrap again. Triggers were already hotfixed once.

For whether the grind is worth it, read the review. Mixed scores exist partly because collectathon time sits on top of a two-to-four-hour story.
